Merry Christmas

…they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed…
Luke 2:17

Hope you’ve got something out of this site these last few months. I’ve enjoyed writing each week, though it’s also been a challenge to find time to sit down and and let the keyboard juice flow!
I hope to be better prepared each week in the new year.

Meanwhile, I’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas!

Let’s make a special effort to remember this unique time of year. It is the anniversary of the greatest rescue plan ever concocted. The King and Creator of the universe squished himself into the form of a baby: all helpless, dependent, vulnerable and weak.

This Christmas we remember the day that baby was born. Born into a violent, hostile, rebellious, confused, dying, hurting and weary world. But he was born to save. To rescue. To liberate. To give life. Life in all its fullness!

Don’t keep silent about this glorious holiday: rejoice in the greatest plan in history.
